Product Description:

1k base coat

- MJ-COAT 1K master base paint has excellent hiding power, simple construction and streamlined process. It is a well-deserved all-rounder for automotive refinish paints, whether it is plain, metallic or special effect colors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

On old, not solvent sensitive coatings apply any primer fillers from the MACROFAN product range or GREEN-TI FILLER. Solvent sensitive coatings must be completely removed.

Allow the primer filler to dry through and sand as follows:

1. Wet sanding: finish with P600-800 grit paper
2. Dry sanding: finish with P400-500 grit paper Before applying the BSB basecoat, degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.

Note:

In case of bare patches apply thin filler coats (MJ-COAT BODY FILLER YX-95). Allow to dry and sand as stated above. It is also possible to seal bare areas with 1 coat of clear normally hardened and thinned: wait 30-40’ at 20°C and overcoat with MJ 1K BASECOAT in thin coats. Then overcoat with MJ CLEARCOATS.

Not application for:

1. Thermoplastic Acrylic Paint or Alloy Primer
2. 2K clear coat / 2K primer / 2K top color coat
3. NC putty / plastic putty / BPO putty /CHPO putty

Physical properties

Safety instructions :

-The use of appropricate personal protective equipment is recommended during application to prevent the irritation of the respiratory tract,skin and eyes.For professinal use only.

-After 15 minutes at 20 ℃,the base may masked and sprayed with another varnish or clear coat.

Storage :

Keep in a tightly covered container and in a dry and ventilated environment,avoiding exposure in sun directly.Temperature above 10℃ is recommended,between 15 and 30 ℃ optimal.
